Overview

This page helps you understand how to add a new counter party in the Finvisage application. As part of the process, you need to add the new counter party details on the New page. You can access this New page by clicking the Menu icon on the Counter party page. Once the details are entered and saved on the New page, the counterparty is added to the Counter Party page. 


Apart from adding, you will also get information on how to update, activate, and deactivate a counterparty in this page.




Adding a New Counterparty

1. On the Side Panel of Finvisage application, click Settings. 

The Settings menu is expanded.

2. On the expanded Settings menuclick Counterparty.

The Counterparty page is displayed.


3. On the Counterparty page, click the Menu icon at the right bottom of the page to view the Add button, and then click it.


The New page is displayed.


4. On the New page, enter the new counterparty details as shown in the below table:


Entering Counterparty Details

From this drop-down box, select the Counterparty typeFor example, Bank. 

Note: Filling this field is mandatory.
Name
In this field, enter the Name of the Counterparty.

Note: Filling this field is mandatory.
Short Code
In this, enter a Short Code for the counter party. For example, BN.

Note: Filling this field is mandatory.
Status
From this drop-down box, select the counter party Status 
choosing from Active or Inactive.

Note: Filling this field is mandatory.
Internal Reference
In this field, enter the Internal Reference Number of the counter party .

Tip: The Internal Reference Number refers to any internal id used to identify the counterparty uniquely.

Note: Filling this field is mandatory.

PAN


In this field, enter the Permanent Account Number of the counter party. 

Note: Filling this field is mandatory.
Acts as RTA
Select this checkbox if the counterparty serves as RTA.

Tip: RTA refers to Registrar and Transfer Agent.

Note: Selecting this checkbox is mandatory.
Related Party
Select this checkbox if the Counterparty is related to the Entity or the Corporate in some manner such as a subsidiary or a sister company. 

Note: Selecting this checkbox is mandatory.
Additional Info
In this field, enter the Additional Information, if any.
Add New Address

Click this button to expand the Address panel and fill the address details of the counter party.


Tip: To close the Address panel, click the Remove button.


Note: Filling all the fields in this panel is mandatory.

Add Primary Relationship Contact
  • Click this button to expand it.
  • From the Status drop-down box, select the Status choosing from Active or Inactive.
  • Enter the Name, Phone Number, and Email ID.

Tip: The Primary Relationship Contact refers to the primary contact of the counter party with respect to sales or relationship.


Tip: To close the panel, click the Remove button.


Note: Filling all the fields in this panel is mandatory.


Add  Primary Operational Contact
  • Click this button to expand it.
  • From the Status drop-down box, select the Status choosing from Active or Inactive.
  • Enter the Name, Phone Number, and Email ID.


Tip: The Primary Operational Contact refers to the primary contact of the counter party with respect to operational enquiries.


Tip: To close the panel, click the Remove button.

Note: Filling all the fields in this panel is mandatory.



5. After filling all the above details, click the Create button at the bottom of New page.


The counter party is added to the Counter Party page.




Viewing Details of a Counterparty 

. On the Counterparty page, click the View icon corresponding to the counter party, whose details you wish to view. See the image below.


The Counterparty Details page is displayed.




Updating a Counterparty

 

1. On the Counterparty page, click the Edit icon corresponding to the counter party, which you wish to edit. See the image below.


The Edit page is displayed.


2. On the Edit page, make the desired changes, and then click the Update button at the bottom.


The Counter party was successfully updated message is displayed. 



Activating a Counterparty

 

1. On the Counterparty page, click the Activation icon corresponding to the counter party, which you wish to activate. See the image below.


The Are you sure? message box is displayed.


2. On the Are you sure? message box, click the OK button.


The Counter party was successfully updated message is displayed and the counter party status becomes active. 





Deactivating a Counterparty

 

1. On the Counterparty page, click the Activation icon corresponding to the counter party, which you wish to deactivate. See the image below.


The Are you sure? message box is displayed.


2. On the Are you sure? message box, click the OK button.


The Counter party was successfully updated message is displayed and the counter party status becomes Inactive.
