Overview
This page helps you understand how to add a tranche to a commercial paper in the Finvisage application. As part of adding a tranche, you can add its details on the New page. You can access the New page by clicking the Add Tranche button on the Tranches pane in the on the Commercial Paper details page.
Apart from the above, you will get information on how to view the details of an existing tranche in this page.
What are Tranches?
In simple terms, tranches are a collection of securities with different maturity periods, credit ratings, and also yields. These different characteristics of tranches provide the investors to invest based on their investment objective.
Adding a Tranche to a Commercial Paper
1. On the Side Panel of Finvisage application, click Liability.
The Liability menu is expanded.
2. On the expanded Liability menu, click Commercial Paper.
The Commercial Paper page is displayed.
3. On the Commercial Paper page, click the External ID of the commercial paper to which you wish to add a tranche.
The details of the commercial paper page is displayed.
4. On the Commercial Paper details page, click the Add Tranche button on the Tranches pane.
The Tranche>>New page is displayed.
5. On the Tranche>>New page, enter the tranche details as shown in the below table:
5. Click the Crete button at the bottom.
The Tranche successfully created message is displayed.
Viewing Details of an Existing Tranche
1. On the Side Panel of Finvisage application, click Liability.
The Liability menu is expanded.
2. On the expanded Liability menu, click Commercial Paper.
The Commercial Paper page is displayed.
3. On the Commercial Paper page, click the External ID of the commercial paper to which you wish to add a tranche.
The details of the commercial paper page is displayed.
4. On the Commercial Paper details page, in the Tranches section, click the External ID of the tranche whose details you wish to view.
The tranche page is displayed with basic details, transaction details, residual maturity amortization schedule, and linear amortization schedule
